Crane Mishaps
Here are pictures of
two cranes one sitting on floats and one on a barge. The contractor
did an in-house inspection and both passed. This is on a state job in
South Carolina lasting for several years. What you do not see in the
pictures are the many bent lacing in each boom, no Load chart, no level on
the cranes, 4 degrees out of level before even making a pick. The
first picture of the crane has a piece of plywood and a tarp to keep Bubba
the operator dry when it rains.
